COVID-19 HOSPITAL DEATH RATE^ BY VACCINE STATUS NSW SURVIVAL OVERVIEW | Week 40 — Ending 8 October 2022
For the first time since 19 Mar 2022 the “3 Dose” group outperformed the “0 Dose + Unknown” group.
Suspiciously the percentage of deaths reported (or perhaps we should say not reporting the vaccine status) that is the “Unknown” group was twice as LARGE this week while the “3 Dose” group was inversely LOWER as a percentage of the reported deaths.
NSW Health still does not provide mortality data by vaccine status per individual age group and only provides us with totals for each dose for the whole week making it more difficult to evaluate the booster program.

Why did the UNKNOWN vaccine status —as a percentage of total deaths— increase from 2.9% to 10% this week? OK lower volume volatility but we really should KNOW the vaccine status for all deaths. Is NSW Health planning to improve as we approach 2023 with the more virulent strains around the corner? See table below.
